Either Kathy Griffin read my most recent, or she and I were thinking the same thing about her new unveiling in Las Vegas. “My Madame Tussauds wax figure and me. Can u tell which is which?? Me either.” Actually Kathy, now that I’m looking at them, I CAN tell which is you. You’re on the right…wait…no…that’s you on the left! Right?
Getting an early jump on the holiday weekend, Al Roker broke the news about his impending social networking silence, “I am on vacation. And as such, I have promised my family to limit iPhoning, Blackberrying and Twittering.” What about faxing us an update? Please! I don’t want to have track you down and look back on this weekend as the sequel to What About Bob?

Johnny Depp stars in this Michael Mann film as legendary folk-hero bank robber John Dillinger, who became public enemy number one and fell hard for tough coat-check girl Billie Frechette (Marion Cotillard) while staying one step ahead of fledging federal agents J. Edgar Hoover (Billy Crudup) and Melvin Purvis (Christian Bale).
Kevin Skinner, the most unassuming man in the world, turned out to be a big hit on this week’s ‘America’s Got Talent.’
He’s an unemployed farmer-turned-chicken catcher from Kentucky who wears his hat backwards and has a hard time looking at the judges in the eye. But he gave them a performance of a lifetime.

It’s true! Katie Holmes has, in fact, performed on ‘So You Think You Can Dance.’
After months of speculation that Cruise’s sweetheart would don her dancing shoes and jump on stage, Katie has taped her performance on the show just this week.
The performance - which will be a tribute to Judy Garland - will support the charity foundation, Dizzy Feet, which provides scholarship opportunities to underprivileged dancers.
Her episode will air July 23 - just in time for ‘So You Think You Can Dance’s’ 100th episode.
TV time is limited over a long holiday weekend. So here are five things you need to watch this weekend.
- The latest episode of ‘Burn Notice;’ it’s sexy, tightly-written, with good characters and simply one of the most entertaining shows on TV.
- America’s Got Talent‘ returned and it was a genuinely good time.
- ‘Warehouse 13‘ is a new show from SyFy and if you check out this preview you may discover a new fave before it premieres on July 7.
- ABC’s ‘Wipeout‘ provides more silly, mindless fun, and we’re not embarrassed for recommending it.
- ‘BBQ with Bobby Flay‘ is an obvious choice for July 4 weekend. Watch after you workout, because you will be hungry.

Sad news for fans of ‘Sex Decoy: Love Stings.” The Fox Reality series that follows “professional homewrecker” Sandra Hope and her buxom daughters as they go undercover to investigate fidelity issues concludes its marvelously tacky run on Saturday. If you haven’t seen the low rent series, watch the recent full episode above and you will understand why the staff of E!’s topical gutbuster The Soup (they coined the phrase professional homewrecker as well as about a dozen other colorful descriptions) must be mourning the end of fresh capers. Catch up on all the fun here.
