A Cornucopia of Southland Tales

It looks like a drama, but it has this insanely incredible ensemble cast - The Rock and Seann William Scott in a Rundown reunion, plus Sarah Michelle Gellar, Blond Jon Lovitz, Nora Dunn, Cheri Oteri, John Larroquette, Justin Timberlake in weird make-up, Amy Poehler, Mandy Moore, Curtis Armstrong, Kevin Smith, Janeane Garofalo, Christopher Lambert the Highlander, and Wallace Freakin’ Shawn.

This cast is a complete nerdgasm. In fact, take out Timberlake and Lambert and insert LL Cool J and Billy Idol as buddy cops, and you’ll have the cast of my dream movie.

The fact that director Richard Kelly is the same guy who ave us cult-fave Donnie Darko is just icing on the cake.

There’s a lot on The Rock’s shoulders here, but I’m a fan of his. I really hope he can pull this off.
