A Nirvana Movie? Really?

Wow, who’da thunk? I make up a list of music legend biopics, and then Variety announces that Heavier Than Heaven, a Kurt Cobain film is in the works at Universal, with Courtney Love exec-producing and The Kite Runner writer David Benioff scripting.

Think about what this means.

People will have to be hired to play Dave Grohl, Eddie Vedder, Chris Cornell, Kurt Loder and likely Axl Rose. It’ll be interesting to see who Love casts to play herself. Maybe she’ll steal Kirsten Dunst away from the Blondie movie.

Wow, if we’re talking early 90s music scene… someone may even have to be cast to play Vanilla Ice. How would you like that credit on your resume?
