Ali Larter is Breaking All The Girl Rules

She may not be the most loved character on Heroes (her character’s name was booed by the crowd at an event we attended this weekend) and Niki Sanders may have been killed by a giant ball of fire on the last episode of the season, but it’s beginning to look a little more like Christmas for Ali Larter. The Heroes star has gotten engaged over the weekend to Hayes MacArthur, who has guest starred on How I Met Your Mother.

People makes it clear that Larter, 31, has broken Girl Rule number 1 by A) babbling to her boyfriend about getting married before he even utters the word and B) expressing her “love” of MacArthur to the world:

Larter, 31, has made it clear she has been more than ready for a proposal from MacArthur, who recently appeared in The Game Plan.
“I told my boyfriend after three weeks that I wanted to marry him and that we could do it tomorrow,” Larter recently said. “I look forward to that time when I’m home with babies.”
And in August, Larter she was madly in love, adding that MacArthur has “brought light to my life. I feel lucky every morning when I wake up and see him.”

Jesus, that’s breaking about 17 girl rules all in one month. In fact, it’s like tearing to pieces The Gospel of The Girl Rules. What, did she follow this by up by precociously photoshopping their photographs together “just to see what the kids would look like”? Methinks MacArthur’s in for a treat!
