Spencer Pratt & Heidi Montag

Spencer Pratt, Hills ingenue and devil-may-care bad (ish) boy, is warming up the holidays of some underprivileged and deserving kids in North Carolina with Ron Feemster, the producer behind Heidi Montag’s debut album.

Heather Wilson, family coordinator for the Kings Mountain Y, told me the guys spent about an hour meeting the children and telling them about their backgrounds. Wilson said Feemster lived a hardscrabble life, growing up on food stamps in the small rural town. She also said Pratt talked about how “God has changed his life and how it’s happened in the past two or three weeks. … He said it’s important for the kids to be morally aware of what they’re doing.”
Sounds as though Montag’s devotion to religion is rubbing off on him.
And despite what she heard about Pratt’s MTV exploits from some of the high school girls she works with, Wilson described him as “super, super nice” and said his comments to the children were “very inspirational.”
“I was very impressed by how down to earth and sincere he was,” Wilson said [Charlotte Observer]

Not bad, Pratt. Not bad at all. Looks like that little grinch you have inside your soul is finally starting to die out, to be replaced by a kindler, gentler young man, who cares about things other than frosted tips and Les Deux/LAX/Geisha House. Way to start the new years off right, bro bro!
