The race for President is, of course, the big story this election year. But there are plenty of other candidates looking to score a victory and change the future for themselves and their constituents. Without grass-roots campaigns, tireless volunteers hitting the bricks or manning the phones and generous contributions, most would-be politicos wouldn’t stand a chance. Our countdown continues with a race for City Council in an altogether ooky district where the vote didn’t turn out quite the way expected, despite the aid of a highly motivated contributor.
#14. The Addams Family: Gomez the Politician
Gomez tries his hand at political puppeteering in the race for City Council, breaking with Addams Family tradition by backing a candidate who can actually win. But his man Hilliard is much more interested in Gomez’ campaign slush fund. However, when Gomez reveals his outrageous reform ideas, Hilliard has second thoughts about his desire for Public Service.
