Terminator

McG has updated his blog with some tidbits about the post-production work being done on Terminator: Salvation. He touts how much they’ve done in the way of practical effects to try and give it the ost realistic look possible. The most interesting thing to note is that, much like the way Terminator 2: Judgment Day introduced that morphing schtick that blew people’s minds back in 1991, McG’s team is working on “one sequence in particular where we’re trying to achieve something that’s never been done before. I don’t want to talk about it because we haven’t been successful yet.” He also says stars Christian Bale and Sam Worthington “seem pleased with where the film is headed” after seeing early cuts. It’d be much more comforting if they’d actually said they were pleased. Mild optimism is allowed, but keep hopes tempered, folks.
