Fancast’s 24-Hour Halloween Movie Festival

From midnight to midnight, witching hour to witching hour on October 31st, Fancast Movies will be featuring a new fright flick every hour on the hour, to properly celebrate the Halloween spirit of thrills, chills, creeps and yucks (and more than a few ‘yuks’ as well). Here’s the holiday playlist!
1. Night of the Living Dead [watch the movie]
George A. Romero’s seminal riff on I Am Legend defined the modern conception of zombies, even though these undead creatures that corner a small group of survivors in a Pennsylvania farmhouse are never referred to with the z-word. The news only calls them “ghouls” that feast on the flesh of the living.
2. The Vampire [watch the movie]
A small-town doctor trying to develop a serum that will improve human brain power instead gets whacked out on a drug made from the blood of vampire bats and becomes a freakish monster.
3. The Haunted Palace [watch the movie]

4. The Conqueror Worm [watch the movie]
Vincent Price returns as a nefarious and corrupt Witchfinder General who hunts down and brutalizes those poor souls suspected of witchcraft.
5. Crawlspace [watch the movie]
A homicidal maniac doctor who feels predestined to follow the dark path of his Nazi war criminal father runs a boarding house for innocent young women to spy upon them before committing brutal murder.

9. Cry of the Banshee [watch the movie]
Vincent Price is a sadistic 16th-Century Irish judge who disrupts a coven of Druid witches, only to find himself and his entire family line cursed by the spirit of the “sidhe” taking the form of a mild-mannered stable boy who wreaks violent vengeance.
10. Twice Told Tales [watch the movie]
Renowned author Nathaniel Hawthorne’s trio of horror tales - Dr. Heidegger’s Experiment, Rappaccini’s Daughter and The House of the Seven Gables - are given life with the help of Vincent Price.
11. Count Yorga, Vampire [watch the movie]
A reclusive bloodsucker (or as Blade would call him, ’suckhead’) preys upon unlucky travelers in order to build himself a harem of vampiric women in his thrall.
12. Ghoulies II [watch the movie]
Ugly little swarming gremlin-esque monsters hole themselves up in a dilapidated carnival and feast on the flesh of fun-seekers.
13. Pumpkinhead [watch the movie]
Don’t piss off Lance Henriksen, and especially don’t kill his kid. Otherwise, he’ll consult with the occult and sic a vengeance demon on your marauding biker gang asses!
14. J.D.’s Revenge [watch the movie]
The ghost of J.D., a murdered gangster kingpin from the pinstripe era, returns to possess the soul of a New Orleans law student, make love to his woman and get the revenge he craves!
15. Vampire’s Kiss [watch the movie]

17. The Comedy of Terrors [watch the movie]
Vincent Price is back again, and this time he’s playing an undertaker who, with the help of his cringing assistant Peter Lorre, is trying to poison his senile father-in-law (Boris Karloff) to take over his buinsess, while he’s also boosting his ledger by quietly smothering wealthy old men in their sleep - that is, until his latest victim (Basil Rathbone) refuses to stay dead!
18. Troll 2 [watch the movie]
A horde of hideous goblins completely defeat the purpose of vegetarianism by hunting down humans in order to turn them into plants before eating them. And yes, there is nary a troll to be found.
