You may think this 1972 flick is about killer frogs, but you’d only be half-right. It’s actually about killer frogs who somehow seem to telepathically control a horde of swamp creatures, like snakes, alligators, turtles and geckos, who do all their killing for them! How awesome is that?

Ray Milland stars as grumpy old pesticide magnate Jason Crockett, who is responsible for all sorts of bayou pollution. Sam Elliott is Pickett Smith, a nature photographer who is documenting all that environmental damage, and when he has a run-in with Crockett’s grandson, he winds up being invited to Crockett’s birthday gathering at his plantation. But that celebration is interrupted when animals attack. Nature has become monstrous, and Crockett’s family soon finds itself falling victim to angry amphibians!
