The “Beach Party” craze in the early 1960s which riffed on the Elvis Presley and Doris Day movies of the era, but usually included Frankie Avalon and ex-Mousketeer Annette Funicello as a perennial couple trying to use other people to make each other jealous, and the great Don Rickles keeps showing up to give them a hard time. Frankie and Dee Dee find their wonderful summer goof-off hangout threatened by a gang of bodybuilders coached by Rickles, and Frankie is lured away from Dee Dee by vivacious Italian royalty who wants to make him a star. Luckily, Buddy Hackett saves the day with some sage advice.

This one’s crazy. Don Rickles is a part of an impending Martian invasion of Earth, and they’ve sent a teenaged Martian named Gogo (Tommy Kirk) to Earth to get things started, only he falls in love with Connie (Funicello) while a goofy motorcycle gang led by Eric Von Zipper (Harvey Lembeck) tries to get revenge on volleyball players for messing up their beach. And which side is Frankie on?

Eventual Dynasty star Linda Evans is a singer named Sugar Kane being exploited by her manager, the irrepressible Paul Lynde, while Frankie and Dee Dee take up skydiving and Von Zipper falls crazy in love with Sugar, and a guy named Bonehead falls in love with a mermaid!

A big change-up says bye-bye to Frankie and Annette, and hello to Boris Karloff and Nancy Sinatra! Karloff stars as a ghost who has 24 hours to do one good deed in order to get himself into heaven, which includes trying to stop his lawyer Reginald Ripper (Basil Rathbone) from claiming his estate away from the true heirs. Von Zipper’s biker gang shows up once again to try and claim a share of the estate for themselves!

An unofficial part of the Beach Party series has Frankie teaming up with Dwayne Hickman as heroes trying to foil the diabolical plans of the sinister Dr. Goldfoot (Vincent Price), who has created a bunch of bombshell babe robots to seduce and rob unsuspecting wealthy men!
