News: Kruek, Duncan, Klein and Yune Will Fight You In The Street

So, they’re making another Street Fighter movie. You know, the Jean-Claude Van Damme video-game riff that is most notable for all the lamentations people make when they’re reminded that it was Raul Julia’s last film.

This, time, though, Kristin Kreuk, Michael Clarke Duncan, Chris Klein (the poor man’s Keanu Reeves - and yes, it’s hard to believe that Reeves is the rich man’s anything) and Rick Yune are lined up to fight people in the street in Street Fighter 2 The Streets. Or, actually, just Street Fighter again.

Kreuk, who plays Lana Lang in the CW’s “Smallville,” will star as martial artist Chun-Li. Duncan will play Balrog, while Klein is stepping into the role of Nash. Yune is taking on the mystical Gen.

Which of these four would you rather have at your back in a street fight? Me, I’m going to go with Kreuk, because I bet she’s got a lot of pent-up anger at being ‘the whiny angsty girl’ on Smallville all these years.
