News: Schneider, Willis and Wild Cherry

Rob Schneider, Ryan Merriman, Rumer Willis, Kristin Cavallari and Tania Raymonde have all been cast in an independent comedy called Wild Cherry, about a high school senior who decides to lose her virginity, only to discover her football-player boyfriend is only dating her for the story. Thus, a style of vengeance riffed from the Greek comedy “Lysistrata” is sought. The name of that play loosely translates to “she who disbands armies,” and the female characters band together to withhold sex from their husbands to end the Peloponnesian War. So you can see where it might apply to the high school football team.
