Sienna Miller as Russell Crowe’s Maid Marion

Russell Crowe is starring in a new twist on the Robin Hood legacy, and he’s just gotten his Maid Marion in Sienna Miller.

Miller will play opposite Crowe’s Sheriff in Ridley Scott’s Nottingham, which recasts the traditional villainous authority figure as a sympathetic and noble lawman under the thumb of an evil king, and making his competition with Robin Hood over Marion’s affections a legitimate love triangle. This should be interesting after Alan Rickman’s complete cad portrayal of the man.
