GLAAD Media Awards: (Bravo, 8 PM) It was only fitting for the network that brought us Queer Eye to air the annual Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation awards gala, honoring media contributions in the gay, lesbian, bi-sexual and transgendered arenas. Also on tap, appearances by Ellen DeGeneres, Janet Jackson, Kathy Griffin, Sharon Stone (yes apparently she is allowed back in public), Kevin Bacon, and Alan Cumming. What, no Tila Tequila?

Dance Machine: (ABC, 8 PM) Plumbers, teachers, and Starbucks baristas shaking their groove things for 100K. Yeah, this is exactly what the Jackson 5 had in mind back in ‘73.

Paid Vacation With Paulie Shore
: (CMT, 9:30 PM) From the moment you saw Paulie Shore’s comic gold performance in Bio-Dome, you’ve been thinking to yourself “how can I get this guy to accompany me and my family on an all-expenses paid swanky vacation?” Now you know how.

WEEKEND WATCHING

The Singing Office: (TLC, 9 PM) Joey Fatone (does he ever turn anything down?) and Scary Spice Mel B. go cubicle to cubicle in search of people with the strongest set of pipes to steal from their day jobs and turn into five-person teams of performance-hungry animals competing against each other every week. How will a champion be decided? By everyone’s favorite soft-rock superstars of the early 90’s: Jon Secada and Taylor Dayne.

Factory: (Spike, 10 PM) Four dudes work together at a factory in small-town Illinois. Sounds ho-hum until you hear this: ‘Factory’ was developed by Reno 911 and Strangers With Candy alum Mitch Rouse and is almost completely improvised. Now we’re talking funny.
