Watching TV: Dimitri Diatchenko

Dimitri Diatchenko, whom you can meet in this video, is one busy dude. He plays a villain in director Steven Spielberg’s Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, and will appear in another summer box-office biggie, the Steve Carell-Anne Hathaway remake of the hit 60s series, Get Smart. Diatchenko has also appeared alongside James Woods in the TV show Shark. Despite a complicated last name, his taste in TV his classic. Here’s his list:

All Time Favorite TV Series:

1. Magnum P.I.: I loved the physicality and the stunts. I also loved it because it was shot in Hawaii and Higgins [John Hillerman] was the cantankerous house guy.
2. The Fall Guy: Heather Thomas was the most gorgeous woman ever, I also liked Lee Majors.
3. Married with Children: It always made me laugh.
4. Cane: Jimmy Smits is a great actor and I loved the way they plugged the Miami culture, the music was awesome, too.
5. Two and a Half Men: I had a little brother and I used to treat him like Charlie Sheen treats his on the show.

Best Series Never Seen:

Saturday Night Live: I wished I had seen the episodes with the old crew like with John Belushi.

Most Underrated:

Cane: I’m sorry it was cancelled, the show rocked and it had Jimmy Smits in it.
