The dinner table at Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s house got a little more crowded on Saturday when Jolie gave birth to twins. That makes the actress and her handsome husband, Brad Pitt, the proud and loving parents of six children: Maddox, Shiloh, Pax, Zahara and the latest two, a boy and a girl, Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline.

“It was an epidural, so [Angelina] was awake and speaking and laughing,” reported Eonline.com.

“Brad was emotional,” reported People.com.

“Saturday was a great day for all,” added Us magazine.

The busiest person Saturday was Jolie’s doctor, Michael Sussman, who, after washing up, spoke to every outlet that called, gave an impromptu press conference on the hospital steps, and revealed Pitt’s bedside manner was indispensable. “He was my assistant!” E! reported Sussmann joked, adding, “and he even cut the babies’ umbilical cords. He was…perfectly calm, totally determined, very pleased to be at the birth of his children, very moved and very emotional.”
