At Long Last: A Remake of “Monster Squad”

1987’s Monster Squad was a great Goonies-style adventure about a group of kids who have to figure out a way to stop Dracula and his Universal monster minions from taking over the world, and now The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor director Rob Cohen has said that he plans to produce a remake for today’s crowd. Perhaps they could get Arnold Vosloo as The Mummy, Benicio Del Toro as the Wolfman (who’s got nards, incidentally) and even Gary Oldman as Dracula!
