Fergie is Seventh of “Nine”

Nicole Kidman, Marion Cotillard, Judi Dench, Penelope Cruz, Sophia Loren, Kate Hudson and now the erstwhile Fergie - aka Stacy Ferguson - are seven of the women that Daniel Day-Lewis will have to juggle in Chicago director Rob Marshall’s musical Nine, adapted from Fellini’s 8 1/2. Fergie’s first major film role will be playing Saraghina, the lusty woman that introduces Day-Lewis’ Guido Contini to the world of sexuality. Or as the role was described earlier, “the whore from Guido’s youth.” Gotta start somewhere! Good thing all hookers have hearts of gold.
