Rupert Grint Cuts Loose

Rupert Grint, whose name is just about as weird as Ron Weasley’s and could easily have been made up by J.K. Rowling as well, is attempting to bust out of the Harry Potter mold like Daniel Radcliffe’s Equus Adventure. He’s just signed on to star in Cherry Bomb, as one of two friends competing for the same girl, which leads to a weekend bender full of substance abuse and grand theft auto. That’ll certainly raise a few eyebrows, although there’s no word yet whether or not he’s going to match Radcliffe full-frontal for full-frontal.
