J.J. Abrams

J.J. Abrams is all about being secretive about his projects. We’ve seen nothing but a teaser and posters for his Star Trek relaunch, and Cloverfield was so secretive people thought its real name was a codname for a long time. Now he’s got another project that he’s slated to produce, a disaster movie about an earthquake. David Seltzer will write it, and that’s about all we know, other than that it will likely follow the Cloverfield model of ‘mass chaos through the eyes of a couple.’ Also, it is NOT a remake of the 1974 flick Earthquake, starring Charlton Heston and Ava Gardner, but you can watch the classic trailer for it here.
