Watty Watts (Gil Bellows of Ally McBeal and The Shawshank Redemption) is a man who doesn’t believe in violence, but thrives on petty crime. Starlene Cheatham (Renee Zellweger) is the love of his life who wants Watty to make an honest woman out of her. When a bank robbery goes too far wrong, the twosome are forced on the lam, heading on down to Mexico with Watty’s drug-addict friend Billy Mack Black (Rory Cochrane), and what unfolds is a truly 90s road movie media frenzy, mixing Killers up with True Romance.
