What’s It All About: A metrosexual general manager (O’Connell) strives to keep a posh hotel running smoothly. Running interference is the hotel’s sassy and fabulous HR Director (Sassy and fabulous? Cue Niecy Nash…..).

Why You Should Watch: It’s like Upstairs, Downstairs, American style! (Er, not that American style always wears well in such cases…..) The trendy NYC hotel setting and its celebrity clientele ought to provide ample fodder – surely Russell Crowe’s scientific effort to field-test Newton’s law of gravity with the help of a hotel phone and a desk clerk’s head will make its way into an episode. If Jason Bateman were to continue directing beyond the pilot episode, that certainly wouldn’t hurt.
