Christina Applegate: “I’m 100%’ Clear And Clean” Of Breast Cancer

Tomorrow’s Good Morning America turns into Good News America when Christina Applegate tells the show’s co-host Robin Roberts that she is “healthy and cancer free” about a month after news leaked that she’d been diagnosed with breast cancer. “I’m clear,” the “Samantha Who?” star said. “Absolutely 100 percent clear and clean. … They got everything out so I’m definitely not going to die from breast cancer.” In the interview, Applegate reveals the cancer was detected after the second of two MRIs she had following a biopsy. Already back to work on her series — watch a preview here — she also says she began getting mammograms six years ago. She was particularly cautious because her mother was also diagnosed with breast cancer when she was in her 30s. Of course GMA’s Robin Roberts has fought her own courageous battle with breast cancer. It was nearly a year ago that she returned home from the hospital after having surgery.
