Tobey Maguire stars as J.T., the son of the owner of a motel in a podunk town, who becomes fascinated with an enigmatic woman calling herself Ms. Smith (Christina Naify) and, more importantly, with her beautiful black convertible. In search of excitement and a way to impress a flirty guest named Tanya (Amy Hathaway), J.T. steals the car and goes for a joyride with her and his friend James (Wilson Cruz). It’s unfortunate that Tanya turns out to be a hooker being pimped out by her sleazy father (Adam West). And that Detective Lopez (Benicio Del Toro) gets involved in the whole mess. And that Ms. Smith turns out to be an assassin, and there’s a corpse in the trunk.

That’s right. Adam West is a pimp.
