Watch a Musical on Fancast: Treat Williams in “Hair”

Well, Treat my Williams, it’s the Age of Aquarius!
The famous musical counter-culture celebration Hair got its film treatment in 1979, starring Treat Williams as Berger, the de-facto leader of a crew of hippies living by their own rules in New York. This group includes Annie Golden as Jeannie, a pregnant girl who doesn’t particularly care whether the father of her child is Hud (Dorsey Wright) or Woof (Don Dacus). They live on the streets, they try to be decent yet obnoxious people for fun. When Claude (John Savage) shows up from Oklahoma on a sight-seeing trip to the Big Apple before shipping off to Vietnam, Berger’s crew takes the opportunity to expose him to a different side of humanity - one with the gregarious, devil-may-care attitude that can even lure a girl like Sheila (Beverly D’Angelo) away from high society and into a night of skinnydipping with him.
Hair also features appearances from famous 80s sitcom housekeeers Charlotte Rae and Nell Carter, who are both more than happy to see the moon in the seventh house and Jupiter aligned with Mars.
