Astro Boy: Fall 2009

The classic manga/anime series Astro Boy, which is considered the first show with the aesthetics that defined its entire genre, is getting a CG reimagineering thanks to Summit Entertainment, and it’s due out in about a year’s time, in fall 2009. It’s got David Bowers directing it, and it’s already procured the voices of NIcolas Cage and Donald Sutherland. The major question is whether or not they’re going to make him put a shirt on.
