Billy Crystal Joins Dwayne Johnson and Julie Andrews in “Tooth Fairy”

Billy Crystal hasn’t been in a movie that wasn’t a cartoon since he did Analyze That back in 2002, but he’s been lured back to the business for Tooth Fairy, which stars Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as a minor-league hockey player who’s earned that nickname for ruining opponents’ dentistry on the ice, but then is forced to serve as the actual tooth fairy for a week. A cute premise which has also drawn Ashley Judd, Julie Andrews and Stephen Merchant into its cast. No word on the role he’ll play as yet, but it’ll be interesting to see what caught his eye about this film if it’s anything other than a hefty paycheck.
