Jaden Smith: The New “Karate Kid”

Sweep the leg, Johnny. It looks like Jaden Smith, The Even-Fresher-Than-Fresh Prince, is going to be starring in a revamp of The Karate Kid, a role which once belonged to Ralph Macchio and later to Hilary Swank. The tale of a bullied kid who learns karate and then to stand up for himself was anchored by the late Pat Morita as Mr. Miyagi, the man who mentors young Danny LaRusso in the ways of the martial arts. There’s no word yet on who they could possibly get to replace him, but odds are they ask Jackie Chan.
