Watch a Movie on Fancast: Mick Jagger in “Ned Kelly”

In 1970, Mick Jagger of The Rolling Stones made his film debut as notorious Irish outlaw Ned Kelly, who’s wanted by the law for stealing horses in the Australian outback, a crime he never committed. However, when his mother is framed for murder and arrested, Kelly offers to exchange himself for his mother’s freedom. Yet the British authorities refuse, and that prompts Ned and his brothers to go on a legendary crime spree out of rebellious spite.
This version of the Ned Kelly story, which originated as a folk song, also features music written by the late, great Shel Silverstein, which is performed by Jagger himself as well as Waylon Jennings.
