Amy Poehler Talks About New Series

Amy Poehler’s spilling the beans about her new show, and it involves some very funny co-stars. “They’re still casting for the other parts. But it’s superexciting,” says the SNL alum to E!. “I’m thrilled to be working with Rashida [Jones] and Aziz Ansari, and also, obviously, [executive producers] Greg Daniels and Mike Schur, who are the best. So we’re just gearing up, and I’m thrilled.”

You’ll remember Rashida Jones as Karen Filippelli on The Office and as Kate on Unhitched. Ansari worked with Poehler during her comedy circuit days but developed his own successful show on MTV, Human Giant.

With comedic talent of this caliber, we’re sure the new series will be one not to miss in the new year.
