Wednesday, Dec. 24: Tonight being Christmas Eve, ABC smartly decided to air a movie instead of reruns or cheesy holiday specials. The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe has nothing to do with Christmas, but it has tons of snow and mythical creatures. Plus, you can finally find out what the heck Andy Samberg was talking about in his infamous “Lazy Sunday” digital short. Find out how to impress the cool kids tonight at 8 p.m.

Thursday, Dec. 25: After a day full of opening presents, gorging yourself on peanut butter balls, and TV marathons, take a break with a little bit of humor. Kitchen Nightmares doesn’t sound like your traditional holiday programming, but Chef Gordon Ramsay manages to infuse humor and heart into his barrage of foul language. FOX is airing a double feature tonight starting at 8 p.m., so make sure you’ve woken up from your traditional Christmas nap by then.

Friday, Dec. 26: Supernanny is one of those guilty pleasures that are secretly addicted to, but never manage to admit it to our friends. Tonight’s episode was so intriguing during its original airing, you’ll want to watch it again. Jo is faced with helping a deaf couple manage their four children-only one of whom speaks sign language. Watch the touching episode on ABC at 9 p.m.
