She’s goooiiinnng! That sentiment is in Oprah speak in case you couldn’t tell, because I’m referring to the one and only Ms. O, who has announced she’ll be in Washington D.C. to celebrate the inauguration of her good friend, Barack Obama. Oprah Winfrey will join millions in our nation’s capital to not only celebrate Obama’s inauguration as President on January 20th, but to host her show, “The Oprah Winfrey Show,” from the district that week.

It’s well known that Oprah was a serious Obama supporter from the start so its no surprise really that she’s planning to be there for his big day. He is one of her favorite things after all.

Oprah revealed the news to Access Hollywood when she told them, “That’s where I’m going to be. See you there…that’s the place to be.”

She also confirmed that she’ll be hosting her show from the Opera House at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. So all you D.C. area Oprah-maniacs have somewhere else to stake out that week besides the National Mall.

Inauguration is sure to be an awe inspiring day, as was his election night. Check out this Fancast video of Oprah Winfrey tearing up that night and expect to see more of that from her and millions of others on January 20th!
