News: Pillars Of The Earth Set To Touch Ground On TV

After selling 14 million copies worldwide, Ken Follett’s The Pillars of the Earth – an Oprah’s Book Club favorite – will be making its way to the small screen, according to the Hollywood Reporter. A heavy tale of love, war, and religious struggle set in a fictional 12th century English cathedral, Pillars will be adapted as a limited series by Ridley and Tony Scott’s production company Scott Free Prods., and styled similarly to Showtime’s The Tudors.
