Clint Eastwood in Gran Torino

Clint Eastwood had said that Gran Torino could very well be his last on-screen role, but recently he clarified that by mentioning that he’s been saying that for years.

“When I did Million Dollar Baby I said, ‘This is perfect; this is the last one.’ When I did Unforgiven in 92, I said, ‘This will be a perfect last Western’… You never know. I don’t know what kind of great roles, or any roles, they have for guys my age. I can play butlers and stuff like that.”

As much as it would be fitting for Clint to go out on an incredibly grizzled and so-perfectly-Clint role like Walt Kowalksi, having him show up randomly as a butler in some high society flick would be too good to pass up.
