“Back to the Future” Bollywood Style

Action Replay might sound like some ridiculous feature of NFL programming along the lines of that pointless dancing robot linebacker, but Bollywood director Vipul Shah is apparently intending it to be a reimagineering of Back to the Future, staring Aishwarya Rai and Akshay Kumar, two of the biggest stars in the realm. It won’t be a straight remake, natch, since Kumar is 41 and Rai is 35 and Marty McFly was a high-school kid who wore a 1985-style lifejacket. In fact, there’s no word as to whether or not they even have the rights, so we’ll see how far along this project gets.
