Justin Timberlake Reveals His Comedy Secrets To Beyonce

Justin Timberlake sat down with Katie Couric to talk about his upcoming Grammy Awards appearance. So what do we find out? He’d much rather talk about comedy.
The former ‘N Sync heartthrob established himself as a solo artist in 2002 and since then has proven he can carry the stage without the rest of the boys in the band. But increasingly it looks like Justin is hedging his bets for the future by blazing a trail for himself in other areas of the entertainment business.

And it’s working.

Yahoo! News reports that Justin tells Katie about the night he and Beyonce were set to appear in a skit on Saturday Night Live and, to calm B’s nerves, he went to her dressing room to offer some advice. Timberlake “showed up in a robe covering a leotard. He dropped the robe and stood there, staring into space.

Beyonce’s reply: “I can’t look anywhere but your face right now.”

Apparently Beyonce was well aware of Justin’s other SNL viral video hit and maybe even had a DVD of his turn in the Mike Myers comedy “The Love Guru.” Anyway, she got over the jitters and turned in a beautiful comedic performance herself that night.

Add her to the list of a whole host of stars who are learning how to be more versatile - and pulling it off. Neil Patrick Harris is heading to Broadway as a song-and-dance man, comedian Tina Fey is winning acting awards and Mariah Carey is carrying movies all on her own.

Well, 2 outta 3 ain’t bad!
