NBC Expected To Renew ‘Chuck,’ ‘Medium’ And More

NBC’s upfront presentation to advertisers takes place tomorrow, and the network is expected to announce a handful of renewals.

According to Hollywood’s scoop queen Nikki Finke, Ben Silverman’s network will renew the much-adored but ratings-hampered ‘Chuck,’ as well as ‘Medium‘ and ‘Law & Order.’ Earlier, new police drama ‘Southland‘ and Amy Poehler’s sitcom ‘Parks & Recreation‘ were also picked up.

Reaction on message boards was mixed. Commentors praised the decision to keep ‘Chuck’ and ‘Medium,” though some cautioned they wouldn’t believe it till they heard the news on Monday. The consensus deemed ‘Parks’ not funny and thus not worth renewing.
