‘Law & Order: SVU’ Stars Sticking Around
Christopher Meloni and Mariska Hargitay have renewed their contracts in a deal that will keep Benson and Stabler on ‘Law & Order: SVU‘ for two more years, according to Variety.
Details of the negotiations, which had stalled out in recent months, were not disclosed, but the detective duo was reportedly asking for a primetime salary of $400,000 per episode (up from their current $375,000 payday), plus profits.
The upcoming 11th season will guest star Christine Lahti in a four-episode stint as the new ADA, while a former ADA, Stephanie March’s Alex Cabot, returns (again) for 10 episodes, beginning in episode five.
In additional casting news, ‘Prison Break’s’ Wentworth Miller will guest star in the season premiere as an NYPD cop, per TV Guide magazine.
Look for ‘Law & Order: SVU’ on its new night and time, Wednesdays at 9 p.m., beginning Sept. 23rd.
