Seems Paula Abdul isn’t down with Kara DioGuardi – the fourth judge recently added to ‘American Idol.’

“Kara and I have known each other for years and we get along great,” Abdul tells the March 9th issue of OK! magazine. But we tried four judges before and it doesn’t work.”

DJ Angie Martinez joined “Idol” as a judge before the second season but left before the season started.

“It takes up so much time for each of us to give our opinion that it slows down the pace of the show,” she continues in the article.

One would wonder why Abdul is talking this way about ‘Idol’ for without the show’s existence, she may never have resurface from pop starlet. Is she dead set on burning this very lucrative bridge?

“It is the last season of my contract, and I have so many other things I want to do,” she says.
