Film goddess Jena Malone’s talents extend beyond the wonderful films she has done throughout her career. Jena is one half of the Los Angeles based band called ‘The Shoe’ – a beautiful venture into the depths of musicdom.

‘The Shoe’s’ latest album creation, ‘At Jem Lay’s Garage,’ makes ample use of keyboardist Jem Lay’s skills, various samples, as well as Jena’s haunting, distant voice and and loaded lyrics – all making this album a rare find.

If you’d like to check out ‘The Shoe,’ the band will perform in Los Angeles’ Echo Park this Thursday at 7:45pm, on “The Island” – the north/west end of the park which is located on Glendale Blvd. (south of Park/Sunset north of Temple).

But we’ve got something even better: signed copies of ‘At Jem Lay’s Garage’. Two winners will receive the album, signed by Jena herself. Two runner-ups will receive an unsigned (but still great!) copy of the CD.
