JoBeth Williams Gets Bizzy As ‘Private Practice’ Mom

On the heels of ‘7th Heaven‘ alum Stephen Collins being cast on ABC’s ‘Private Practice‘ as Addison’s father, JoBeth Williams has landed the guest-starring role of family matriarch “Bizzy” Forbes Montgomery.

A source tells me that Williams will appear in this season’s 10th episode, yet she will not cross paths with on-screen hubby Collins, who was booked for a multi-episode run. ‘Private Practice’ airs Thursdays at 10/9c.

Williams is a three-time Emmy nominee for her work in the TV-movies ‘Adam’ and ‘Baby M’ and a guest turn on ‘Frasier.’ Her film credits include the supernatural spooker ‘Poltergeist.’
