Hailey Glassman, Jon Gosselin’s favorite new 22-year-old gal pal, has tried to get famous in the past by auditioning for several TV shows.

Us Weekly reports that the reality dad’s new girlfriend attempted to break into showbiz by trying out for MTV’s ‘Real World‘ and Oxygen’s ‘Bad Girls Club.’ The latter show features young women who party too much or have self-proclaimed anger management issues.

Glassman met Jon through her father – who was the plastic surgeon that performed Kate Gosselin’s tummy tuck. The two then embarked on a relationship.

And now one of Hailey’s purported friends is speaking out, stating that she is just in the relationship for the infamy. “I think after realizing she had a connection to Jon through her father and that Jon and Kate’s marriage was rocky, she saw an opportunity to get famous,” said James Appleton, who also indicated he met Hailey in Cancun but that she “dropped” him when news of her new love surfaced.
