‘Idol’ Cut Is a Shocker

The drama unfolded slowly at the ‘American Idol‘ results show Wednesday night, and in the end it was another shocker.

For the first time, the Top 3 is a boys club as 17-year-old Allison Iraheta was sent home despite giving what many viewers thought was the second-best performance of the night.

The results show included performances from Slash (on the group song), Paula Abdul (performing her new single), No Doubt (playing one of their biggest hits, “Just a Girl”) and “Idol” alum Chris Daughtry, whose band offered the first single off its follow-up album.
