We already reported that America’s Next Top Model is jumping on the tranny bandwagon by having a transgendered contestant compete on the upcoming season, but today we’re giving you a chance to meet the contestant. Her name is Isis, and she’s got it going on! Check out the clip on Fancast, where she explains giving up her job for the chance to be one of Tyra’s top mods.

The Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation already came out in support of the show, saying “(This is) an unprecedented opportunity for a community that is underrepresented on television.” We suspect if Isis comes out victorious, it will be an unprecedented win in the history of pop culture. Hmm, we wonder what the original transgendered supermodel, RuPaul has to say about this. Actually, we know: You better work, girl!
