Fancast TV editor Julie Zied oversees programming on the homepage and full episode pages, the site's two most trafficked destinations. She also writes The Ziedgeist, a three-times-a-week column highlighting the buzziest shows and people on television. The Ziedgeist includes original interviews, unique insights and facts and opinions gleaned from her universe of sources.

Julie's interviews have brought stars of the moment onto the site, including The Jonas Brothers, Christina Applegate, Olivia Wilde, Hayden Pannettiere, Andy Samberg, Mitch Hurwitz, David Simon, Seth MacFarlane, Bob Saget, Elisabeth Moss, Mark Paul Gosselaar, Tate Donovan, Katey Sagal, Joshua Jackson, Rosie O'Donnell, Anna Torv, Rob McElhenney, to Demetri Martin.

A member of the Television Critic's Association, her expertise ranges from the obscure, to the mainstream, and the just plain nostalgic; all the way from American Idol to Zobilee Zoo. She deals in pop culture bullion.

Prior to Fancast she worked in content development for Comcast's user generated video site Ziddio, and programming development at the music network Fuse. She is a graduate of New York University with a BA in French Literature. If all else fails she knows there's always money in the Banana Stand.
