‘Bachelor’ Contestant Melissa Rycroft Engaged

Former ‘Bachelor’ contestant Melissa Rycroft - who was infamously dumped on national TV - is now engaged.

According to Usmagazine.com the former Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader, who also appeared on ‘Dancing With the Stars’ is now engaged to her boyfriend Tye Strickland.

The couple were engaged last Friday and celebrated with friends at Dallas’ Cretia’s restaurant that night, a source told the website.

“When they walked in, everybody stood up and clapped,” the source said.

Remember the ‘Bachelor’ fiasco? Jason Mesnick asked Rycroft to marry him - and all was good in the world. However, by the time the two were to move forward with the engagement, Mesnick admitted that he was in love with runner-up, Molly Malaney and told an unsuspecting Rycroft on the show.
