After snagging George Clooney and girlfriend Sara Larson, pre-show host Regis Philbin said that everyone used to want to be Cary Grant but now they want to be Clooney. “That’s because he’s dead,” Clooney cracked. John Travolta and wife Kelly Preston looked glam, as always. “He looks fabulous,” said Preston. “The red carpet is a bigger deal for the missus than me,” replied Travolta. “I let Kelly wear the dress tonight.” Oscar winner Tilda Swinton had never been to the ceremony before and looked forward to it. “I don’t have any idea what happens,” she said. “What goes on?
