Olympic gold medalist Misty May-Treanor has been injured, and it’s yet to be determined whether or not she’ll continue Dancing with the Stars.

According to a statement released by ABC, “Misty May-Treanor sustained an injury on Friday and received immediate medical attention. Despite previous reports, she did not break her ankle. She is resting comfortably at home.”

As for how the injury impacts her “Dancing” future, the network said, “Doctors will reevaluate her condition on Monday and determine the outcome of her participation on the show.”

Misty and her partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy have performed solidly in the first two weeks of competition, with scores hovering in the middle of the pack. The beach volleyball pro has been praised by the judges for how she “attacks” the routines, so it’s unlikely she’ll throw in the towel very easily.

While there have been injuries on previous “DWTS” seasons (notably, Cristian de la Fuente’s torn bicep tendon last season), this seventh edition is looking particularly cursed. Comedian Jeffrey Ross suffered a scratched cornea while rehearsing and pro dancer Karina Smirnoff sprained her ankle. And during the time she was training for the show, Kim Kardashian was also taken to the ER for slicing her toe on a broken mirror.

***UPDATE***
During an interview with 104.3 FM Monday, DWTS co-star Brooke Burke confirmed Misty won’t be returning, saying “It’s such a sad situation. She did hurt her Achilles tendon. I don’t know if she tore it or ruptured it. She’s out of the competition. Just like that, it’s over for her.”
