A couple words of warning/advice: For the average viewer as well as the professional, Fall TV is a test of endurance, organization and your ability to fully utilize your DVR.
You know what I’m talking about if you made it through last night’s debuts of the new ‘Melrose Place,’ the revamped ‘90210’ and the second season premiere of ‘Sons of Anarchy’ only to be confronted by tonight’s premieres: ‘So You Think You Can Dance,’ ‘America’s Next Top Model,’ and the much anticipated ‘Glee.’
Learn about the hottest new shows.
Employers don’t generally allow you to skip work because you have too much TV to watch, but this is the time of year to test their understanding.
To that end, get out your calendar now and mark these dates: September 21, 22, 23, 25, 27, and 30. These are TV’s equivalent of Super Tuesday, Super Sunday, and Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious all rolled into one. So many shows are returning on those dates – and believe it or not, they don’t even include such key shows as ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ on the 24th, the 35th season of ‘Saturday Night Live’ (Megan Fox guest hosts) on the 26th or ‘The Simpsons’ on the 27th - that you may want to order an extra DVR now.
But don’t freak out. If you miss some, mismanage your DVR or just hit overload, you can watch most of the show on Fancast the next day at work.
