Melissa George To Leave “Grey’s Anatomy”

According to EW’s Michael Aussielo, Melissa George is leaving Grey’s Anatomy. Her last day is today. Why? She’s not being forced out. George says she simply wants to “do something else.”

You mean Hollywood TV stars can just switch jobs like the rest of us? Without even two week’s notice?

Wow. Who knew?

The bi-sexy intern Sadie with a big heart (and missing appendix) was only guaranteed an 11 episode arc when she signed on. Maybe she can temp again at In Treatment?

And before we get to feeling too sorry for the former Aussie teen model a quick look at her resume on Fancast reveals she’s got two big screen gigs coming up with turns in “Stopping Power” and “Triangle” - two mysterious killer-thrillers (a la Turistas) scheduled for debut later on this year.

It looks like Sadie will land on her feet.
